Library

The library and information centre was established in the year 2022 and it has a vast collection of text books, reference books, bound volumes, national and international journals, E- books, E- journals, encyclopedia and other multimedia resources. Library has 1500 volumes and subscriptions for 5 National and International journals and 2 daily newspapers.

E- Journals are subscribed from E-Resource Consortium, which is a value added service to the readers and has a collection of 7611 e-journals. These resources are IP based and can be accessed through the Digital library. Library has a Membership of HELINET, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.


Library Services


  1. Circulation of books: Books meant in stack will be issued for its readers.
  2. Classification of books: All the subject books are arranged as per the classification numbers.
  3. Reference services: Reference books are meant for reference only and can only be availed for taking photocopy.
  4. Book bank facility: The library provides book bank facility.
  5. SC / ST book bank facility: A separate book bank facility is made available for SC/ST students.
  6. Inter library Loan: Document delivery service through DELNET is provided to its readers for the books, which are not available in library by borrowing them through DELNET. MSPT library provides document delivery service to its sister institutions.
  7. User awareness Programme: Library facility and service orientation programme is given to the new students and staff.
  8. Availability of reprographic services.

The SECAB Library is housed separately with a carpet area of over 2000 sqft. The library services and resources are mentioned below.

Four CCTV cameras are installed in the library premises for security measures.
