Library Overview
The library and information centre was established in the year 2022 and it has a vast collection of textbooks, reference, bound volumes, national and international journals, e-books, e-journals, encyclopedias, and multimedia resources.The library holds over 1500 volumes and subscriptions for 5 national & international journals and 2 daily newspapers.
E-Journals are subscribed through the E-Resource Consortium,offering access to a collection of 7611 e-journals.These resources are IP-based and accessible through the Digital Library.
The Library also holds a membership with HELINET, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
Services
- Circulation of books: Books meant in stack will be issued to readers.
- Classification of books: Books are arranged as per classification numbers.
- Reference services: Reference books can only be used for photocopy purposes.
- Book bank facility: Library provides a book bank for students.
- SC/ST book bank facility: Special book bank for SC/ST students.
- Inter-library loan: Books unavailable in the library can be borrowed through DELNET. MSPT library also supports document delivery to sister institutions.
- User awareness programme: Orientation for new students and staff on library usage and resources.
- Reprographic services: Photocopy and related services are available.

Electronic Surveillance
Four CCTV cameras are installed in the library premises for security measures.
